PRSI Delhi Chapter launches Knowledge sharing initiative
NEW DELHI.14 th April 2019. PRSI Delhi Chapter launches Knowledge sharing initiative; first
lecture by Shri GS Bawa delivered at the POWERGRID Academy of Leadership (PAL) to the
young budding HR Executives.
PR and HR go hand in hand in any organization and in PRSI’s pursuit to make budding HR leaders aware of the role of Corporate Communication in the Company, Shri GS Bawa, former GM(PR), Airports Authority of India and the leading light of PRSI Delhi Chapter addressed the budding HR Executives of POWERGRID on the topic “Organization a wheel of synergy- PR through HR”. PAL invited Shri Bawa to develop and deliver the talk on 12th April 2019.
Shri Bawa made an interesting presentation on the various facets of synergy between HR and Corporate Communication Management for over all personality development and synergetic application of human capital in organization building. Earlier Shri Naresh Kumar, GM (CC), POWERGRID also gave a talk of Corporate Communication. Shri J P SHARMA, former DGM(PR), NTPC was also present during the session and facilitated the conduct of the Group Exercise. The enthusiasm among the young HR Executives clearly demonstrated their zeal to get involved in the organization building exercise and papers presented by
both groups as part of the group exercise were excellent in content, presentation and developing slogans and punch lines.
This clearly demonstrates that POWERGRIS has a robust recruitment strategy and methodology in place to attract and pickup the best from the market. This is a first Lecture of part of series of lectures to be undertaken by Public Relation Society of India, Delhi Chapter with a view to Share the knowledge in Communication
Management and various fields and contributing their bit in building the New India through the youth of the Nation.
